For this event, I only provided lighting. Came in early to setup the lighting. Photos have a high contrast due to the sunlight coming in. The room was flooded with red as the evening grew darker. Congratulations Jimmy and Kayla!
ROTC Spring Ball, UCLA
Heist & Co. Clothing Promotion, Costa Mesa
My protege, DJ Heartless, and I helping Heist and Co. with their warehouse sale. There were also a number of cars being shown as well as food trucks. Payment came in the form of energy drinks; I needed them after pulling a double shift the day before.
Double Shift, Macy’s and Splits
Double shift; Macy’s Fashion Island in Newport Beach and Splits Lounge of Forest Lanes in Lake Forest. Over 11-hours of DJing and many cans of caffeine. Being able to perform my job for others is my pleasure.
Huntington Beach Hilton, Ceremony and Reception
A great venue for intimate weddings. Right on PCH and has a great view. Large bay-window area which opens up the room. This couple was not born in America, so a little more advice and guidance was offered to make the whole day go smoothly. My Japanese actually came in handy for once. During our initial meeting, we realized we had a number of mutual friends.
Congratulations Taro and Tomoko!
Pasadena Sheraton, Wedding Ceremony and Reception
Pasadena is a little out of the way of Orange County, but I’m always willing to put in the extra effort, especially for a Bruin. The coordinators and managers of the Pasadena Sheraton were very helpful and accommodating. The transition from ceremony to reception only took a few small movements/changes. Congratulations Sue and Mike!

90th Birthday Party, Huntington Beach
A previous client was throwing a birthday party for their 90-year-old grandmother. Everyone had a great time. This whole family loves to dance which was instilled by the grandmother . . . and that worried me. I played some classic Latin music and flapper music and the grandmother started dancing; I underestimated her vibrance. A great family event!
El Adobe, San Juan Capistrano, Ceremony and Reception
Southwestern feel. Intimate ceremony location. Retractable roof. A mix of guests and requests; a mixture of Latin and classic rock. Great couple; groom is a Bruin and a teacher. Congratulations Cheryl and Noah!
